This position is responsible for leading the timely and accurate completion of all district administration. Individuals should be organized and have excellent customer service and communication skills and work well in an environment with firm deadlines; yet flexible and adaptable to changes and priorities; results oriented. May include overseeing the work of other personnel by providing daily guidance and supervision of tasks.

Essential Functions

  • Supervise office infrastructure as appropriate (e.g. building, facilities repair and maintenance, phone system, office equipment installation and maintenance, to include copiers, PCs, printers, fax, mail machines etc.).
  • Supervise payroll activities, human resource activities and administrative support infrastructure to ensure compliance and consistency with business goals.
  • Assist with reporting, forecasts, and other key financial and operating indicators.
  • Manage payroll and time management entries.
  • Assist in administering local tax and licensing requirements.
  • Execute company procedures and systems to maximize operating efficiency and system controls as it relates to standard operating procedures.
  • Champions EHS strategies and programs to meet near- and long-term safety goals.
  • Work with the national Fleet and Mobility Manager to coordinate district fleet and mobility devices
  • Provide backup support for other administrative roles within the district including scheduling duties.
  • Work to support all team members to ensure the speedy and accurate completion of all team assignments.
  • Collaborate with corporate teams & provide necessary documentation as requested.
  • Monitors and ensures the progress and completion of assigned tasks.
  • Completes and submits all required task-related activities, productivity, and other documentation in a timely manner.
  • Completes other projects to manager and customer satisfaction, as assigned.

Required Competencies

  • Have a strong work ethic and be detail oriented.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprint, schematics, diagrams, instructions, etc. as presented in English.
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate with internal and external teams and end users in English.

Qualifications - External

Education, Experience, and Eligibility Requirements

  • Must present proof of ability to legally work in the United States.
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Minimum of three years of applicable, hands-on experience.
  • Must be able to clear a drug screening in accordance with company policy and applicable law.
  • 3-5 years of experience performing administrative duties required within a sales or service industry and working knowledge of computer-based ERP systems preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Experience in leading an administrative support team or operations team with a focus on customer service preferred.
  • Basic understanding of payroll and human resources principles preferred.
  • Must possess good decision-making skills, be very organized and detail oriented.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication.
  • Ability to use discretion. Problem Solving and ability to escalate matters when needed.
  • Data analysis and interpretation skills.
  • Speed and accuracy with attention to detail.

  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
