BHA Academy partners with students and families to provide individualized education, evidence-based behavioral support, and compassionate care. Our mission is to help every student build skills, increase independence, and achieve long-term success in the least restrictive environment possible.
The Lead Paraprofessional provides instructional support while serving as the day-to-day lead for paraprofessional staff. This role helps ensure consistent implementation of academic, behavioral, and therapeutic programming by coordinating classroom coverage, coaching staff, monitoring documentation, and supporting classroom systems. Working closely with teachers, Case Managers, clinicians, and leadership, the Lead Paraprofessional helps ensure students receive individualized support aligned with their IEPs, BIPs, and treatment plans.
This is a safety-sensitive position requiring the ability to safely supervise students, respond to behavioral needs, transport students when required, and administer medications as trained. The Lead Paraprofessional implements evidence-based interventions using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles in collaboration with Behavioral Clinicians.
