Pay Rate: $40–$55 per flagged hour

Pay Type: Flat Rate + Production Bonus

Earning Potential: $145,000–$160,000+ OTE

Typical Flagged Hours: 45+ hours/week required

About the Shop

The shop is seeking a Lead A-Level Automotive Technician in Sarasota, FL who wants steady volume, advanced repair work, and a pay plan that rewards production.

This is a high-volume, flat-rate environment for an accomplished technician who can reliably produce 45+ flagged hours per week while handling advanced diagnostics and major mechanical repairs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform engine removal, replacement, and major mechanical repairs
• Complete timing chain repairs and internal engine work
• Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical concerns
• Identify root causes through accurate automotive diagnostics
• Complete advanced repairs independently
• Maintain 45+ flagged hours per week while delivering quality work
• Work with the team to maintain consistent workflow and productivity

Qualifications

• 5+ years of automotive repair experience; 10+ years preferred
• A-Level diagnostic and advanced troubleshooting ability
• Experience independently completing major mechanical repairs
• Proven ability to reliably produce 45+ flagged hours per week
• Experience working in a flat-rate, production-based environment
• Ability to balance productivity with repair quality and accuracy
• European vehicle experience with BMW, Mercedes-Benz, or Audi preferred
