Job Description

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for supporting day-to-day transportation execution by scheduling shipments, coordinating with customers and carriers, and providing real-time visibility through track and trace activities.

This role is highly execution-focused and requires strong attention to detail, responsiveness, and communication skills to ensure accurate updates and high-quality service for Pepsi Logistics’ customer base.

Responsibilities

Shipment Scheduling & Execution

  • Schedule shipments through customer portals, email, and phone
  • Enter and manage load details accurately in internal systems
  • Coordinate with customers and carriers to confirm pickup and delivery details
  • Ensure timely and accurate execution of daily shipping activities

Track & Trace

  • Monitor shipments and track real-time freight and truck locations
  • Proactively follow up on loads requiring updates or at risk of delay
  • Provide accurate and timely status updates to customers and internal teams
  • Escalate issues as needed to ensure service continuity

Customer & Carrier Communication

  • Serve as a point of contact for day-to-day shipment communication
  • Respond to customer and carrier inquiries via phone and email
  • Maintain professional and timely communication to support service expectations

Data Accuracy & Systems Management

  • Maintain accurate shipment data across systems and customer platforms
  • Update load statuses, notes, and milestones consistently
  • Support adherence to standard processes and documentation requirements

Operational Support

  • Assist with issue resolution and exception management
  • Support team in meeting daily service and performance goals
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying process gaps

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $45,900 - $73,250.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, systems entry)

Preferred

  • Internship or experience in logistics, transportation, or customer service
  • Familiarity with transportation systems or shipment tracking tools
