Department
IT Helpdesk Operations
- Manages the full procurement process by serving as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders and external technology vendors.
- Maintains software licenses records including updating usage logs, assignment of new licenses and reconciling existing usage and assignments.
- Oversees software license, asset, and procurement related issues, escalating more complex issues as needed.
- Leads and coordinates asset management tracking for the Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) leased equipment across the state. This includes ensuring equipment gets delivered to the receiving agency and the ticketing system is updated to guarantee timely billing.
- Coordinates and performs the reconciliation of LDH monthly expenditure reports.
- Conducts and coordinates physical verification of leased equipment, including site visits as needed to confirm asset location, status, and accuracy of records.
- Maintains and tracks legacy leased equipment until it is removed from monthly bills.
- Serves as primary liaison for reconciliation of invoices between LDH and Office of Technology Services (OTS), including researching and resolving discrepancies.
- Directs the managing of software licenses in use by, including assignment of new licenses and reconciling existing usage and assignments. Software includes, but not limited to Tableau, Monday.com, SAS, Visio, Project, Power BI, Adobe VIP accounts, and Google Workspace accounts.
- Troubleshoots and resolves license management, asset tracking, and procurement related issues.
- Develops and provides hardware and software quotes, and coordinates submission and tracking of procurement requests through the state ticketing system.
- Research and evaluates software and hardware solutions for program offices, providing recommendations and ensuring compliance with OTS rules, standards, and statewide contracts.
- Drafts, reviews, and amends contracts between LDH and external organizations.
- Other tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s Degree, or Associates degree with 3 years professional experience, or 6 years professional experience in lieu of the degree.
- Minimum 3 years professional experience developing and maintaining process and procedure documentation
- Minimum 3 years professional experience with internal LDH and OTS information systems and programs
- Excellent analytical skills, effective organizational and time management skills.
- Great attention to detail and follow up.
- Ability to manage projects, assignments, and competing priorities.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including but not limited to Outlook, Word, and Excel.
DESIRED:
- Minimum 4 years professional experience developing and maintaining process and procedure documentation.
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience with internal LDH and OTS information systems and programs.
- Minimum 3 years professional experience assisting with the reconciliation of invoices.
- Minimum 3 years professional experience with data tracking and reporting tools (Excel, Google Sheets, etc.).
- Minimum 3 years professional experience with leased equipment management or procurement procedure.
SALARY: 65-75k
