Department
IT Helpdesk Operations
- Assists with tracking software licenses records including updating usage logs, assignment of new licenses and reconciling existing usage and assignments.
- Assists with troubleshooting routine software license, asset, and procurement related issues, escalating more complex issues as needed.
- Performs day to day tracking of leased equipment, maintains accurate asset records, and updates tracking systems to reflect delivery, status changes, and billing needs.
- Coordinates asset management tracking for the Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) leased equipment across the state.
- Conducts physical verification of leased equipment to confirm asset location, status, and accuracy of records.
- Assists with drafting, editing, and processing contracts between LDH and external organizations.
- Assists with reconciliation of invoices between the Office of Technology Services (OTS) and the Louisiana Department of Health (LDH).
- Submits procurement requests for hardware, software, and leased equipment. Tracks request status to ensure completion.
- Research valid software and hardware solutions for requests from program offices and ensure compliance with OTS rules and standards.
- Maintains organized records and documentation related to software licenses, assets, procurement requests, and return of expired leased equipment.
- Other tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s Degree, or Associates degree with 3 years professional experience, or 6 years professional experience in lieu of the degree.
- Minimum 2 years professional experience developing and maintaining process and procedure documentation
- Excellent analytical skills, effective organizational and time management skills.
- Great attention to detail and follow up.
- Ability to manage projects, assignments, and competing priorities.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including but not limited to Outlook, Word, and Excel.
DESIRED:
- Minimum 3 years professional experience developing and maintaining process and procedure documentation.
- Minimum 2 years professional experience with internal LDH and OTS programs and systems.
- Minimum 2 years professional experience assisting with the reconciliation of invoices.
- Minimum 2 years professional experience with data tracking and reporting tools (Excel, Google Sheets, etc.).
- Minimum 2 years professional experience with leased equipment management or procurement procedure.
