Salary: €45,000 – €55,000 per year (depending on experience)

Essential Requirements

• EU/UK citizenship or existing right to work in Ireland (mandatory)
• Qualified Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) Technician with a recognised trade certificate (or equivalent)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience working on LCVs in a dealership or commercial workshop
• Proficiency in diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of light commercial vehicles
• Experience with Renault, Fiat, or MAN vehicles (advantageous)
• Full, clean driving licence (truck licence an advantage)

As an LCV Technician, you’ll be responsible for performing maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a range of light commercial vehicles. You’ll ensure vehicles meet safety and performance standards while maintaining high levels of accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled servicing, periodic checks, and general repairs on light commercial vehicles
• Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting on electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
• Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer and company standards
• Identify additional repair needs and report them to the service manager
• Complete digital and paper service documentation accurately and on time
• Maintain high workshop standards of cleanliness and safety
• Collaborate effectively with the service team and management
• Uphold brand and company standards in every customer interaction

Qualifications

• Recognised qualification in Light Commercial Vehicle Mechanics or equivalent trade
• At least 5 years post-qualification experience in LCV servicing and repairs
• Experience working in a main dealership or commercial workshop
• Good working knowledge of modern diagnostic equipment and systems
• Truck licence or experience with heavier commercial vehicles (advantageous)
