As these businesses continue to scale, the complexity of financial models, partner programs, contra economics, and revenue timing has increased significantly.
The LCS Financial Governance & Business Insights Analyst will play a critical leadership role in strengthening the financial backbone of Lifecycle Services. This role will elevate financial management from execution and compliance to clear ownership, forward‑looking insight, and decision support, ensuring leadership has transparency, predictability, and confidence in how investments and financial levers are managed.
This position sits at the intersection of Finance, Commercial Office, Category, Markets, Controllership, and Operations, shaping how LCS manage contra, MDF (Marketing development funds) , deferrals, and balance‑sheet drivers end‑to‑end.
Key Responsibilities:
Contra & Investment Governance
Own and evolve end‑to‑end contra governance across LCS.
Define clear ownership models across GBU Finance, CO Finance, Category, and Controllership.
Lead analysis of high‑impact contra and investment programs.
Distinguish strategic investment from structural or legacy exposure.
MDF/ Contra & Partner Program Transparency
Build business‑focused insight for MDF and partner programs.
Improve visibility into controllable vs centrally driven programs.
Translate accounting activity into actionable business intelligence.
Support program design and investment discussions with fact‑based insight.
Deferral & Revenue Timing Predictability
Improve predictability of deferral and revenue timing.
Reduce flash volatility and late‑cycle financial surprises.
Partner with Controllership to align recognition logic with business realities.
Introduce forward‑looking views of deferral and contra release exposure.
Act as a key finance partner as Retail continues to scale.
Executive & Strategic Insights
Deliver executive ‑ ready analytics and narratives for senior leadership.
Shift discussions from “what posted” to “what it means.”
Frame tradeoffs, risks, and forward implications for decision support.
Support QBRs, BSRs, flash reviews, and leadership forums.
Cross‑Functional Leadership
Influence across Finance, Commercial Office, Category, Operations, and IT.
Lead or contribute to finance transformation and governance initiatives.
Set standards for rigor, accountability, and insight across finance teams.
Mentor and develop talent through thought leadership and example.
Qualifications:
Required
Extensive experience in Finance, FP&A, or Controllership in a complex global organization.
Strong expertise in contra, partner programs, revenue recognition, and balance‑sheet governance.
Proven ability to operate at a Principal / thought‑leadership level.
Strong business acumen and executive communication skills.
Ability to influence without authority across matrixed organizations.
Preferred
Experience supporting Services, Solutions, or recurring‑revenue businesses.
Exposure to Channel financial models.
Experience leading governance, process design, or transformation initiatives
Comfort operating in ambiguous, evolving environments.

We offer:
The base pay range for this role is 222600 PLN to 337500 PLN gross annually with additional cash compensation opportunities in the form of annual cash incentive bonuses. In addition, this role may be eligible for equity awards (typically granted in the form of restricted stock units) that are independently granted by the Company's U.S. parent corporation, HP Inc., on a discretionary basis under its equity plan. Pay varies by job-related skills, effort, responsibility, working conditions, experience and work location.
