As a Light Commercial Product Manager, you are responsible for delivering and managing a future-proof product & portfolio strategy for products in light commercial category. You manage the technical and commercial performance of the product and solutions over the complete lifecycle and work cross-functionally with business stakeholders, to contribute to APAC growth and further support Bosch Home Comfort growth in Europe, MEA, and Americas.

  • Develop and execute the product strategy align with light commercial and market growth strategies. Develop and manage product roadmap with prioritization.
  • Collaborate with national product managers(nPRM) and market experts to develop competitive product and system concepts, transfer the concepts to clear technical requirements. Ensure product concepts supported with clear value proposition and price positioning.
  • Consolidate the market requirements into product platforms, improve product scalability and minimize portfolio complexity.
  • Drive and work with functional stakeholders incl. engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, nPRM and sales to generate viable business cases and align on project timeline and planning. Initiate project kick-off request and get management approvals for project execution.
  • Initiate and execute user experience (UX) activities to gain customer insights, validate product concepts, industrial designs, features & benefits, with support of business stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research and gain intelligence in both regulatory, technical and commercial perspectives, and run in-depth competitor benchmarking incl. portfolio, function & features, distribution, pricing, service etc. within the customer journey.
  • Advocate the customer voice in project execution process. Make sure the right product and system is delivered at the right quality, right price position, right timing, and compliance with relevant regulations and standards for the targeted markets.
  • Deliver product launch info packages and provide product related trainings to enable internal stakeholders, and support successful market launches.
  • Responsible for the lifecycle management of product and system with close attention to product performance incl. price, volume, turnover, profitability, customer feedback. Define necessary improvement measures and execute phase-in/phase-out plannings.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in product management, product strategy & planning, or product marketing, HVAC engineering and manufacturing company background is preferred.
  • Strong customer and market orientation, passionate about business and product strategy, and strong drive for learning and accomplishing results.
  • Strong analytical and structuring skill, and good presentation skill.
  • Good communication and influencing skill, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, capable to interface with leadership.
  • Bachelor degree and above with major in HVAC, energy & power engineering, building & energy application, automation, electrical & electronics, etc. Business administration is a plus.
  • Fluent in English.
