People Perfect is looking for an experienced LC Auditor to perform Local Content (LC) verification and assurance engagements. The role involves reviewing financial records, validating client data, performing audit procedures, preparing working papers, and ensuring compliance with Local Content requirements. The ideal candidate should have strong audit experience, financial analysis skills, and the ability to handle client-facing assignments.
Key Resp onsibilities:
Execute end-to-end Local Content verification engagements, including planning, data validation, testing, and reporting.
Review and reconcile financial data including general ledger, payroll records, supplier invoices, fixed assets, and procurement records.
Perform sampling, substantive testing, and verification of declared Local Content figures.
Prepare audit working papers, verification reports, certificates, and client documentation.
Identify discrepancies and prepare audit queries and observations.
Support engagement managers in client communication and follow-ups.
Maintain audit templates, checklists, and data analysis tools.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and audit standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, or CA Finalist will be preferred.
3–5 years of experience in external audit, assurance, or related financial audit roles.
Strong understanding of financial statements preparation and audit processes.
Experience with audit working papers, sampling techniques, and verification procedures.
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (Pivot Tables, Lookups, Power Query)
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP/Oracle is preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Ability to travel for client assignments when required.
