We are seeking numerous General Production Workers to join our Layup Team at our high-volume Interior Door Manufacturing Plant located in Chilliwack (Yarrow) B.C. Canada. Producing between 6,000-10,000 doors daily, this role is pivotal in reaching our daily trim targets.
All production laborers are responsible for performing various tasks to aid daily operations throughout the door manufacturing process. Basic duties include loading and unloading doors or raw materials, assembling, crafting, and correct movement of doors throughout the process.
The Layup Team is responsible for prepping raw materials, feeding, assembling doors and operating cold presses. As part of the Layup Team – each member is expected to rotate between all Layup functions for cross-coverage reasons.
The Layup department is where our doors are physically assembled and the fastest working area of the manufacturing plant. This position requires ability to work in a fast-paced environment, whilst ensuring quality made doors. All team members perform constant repetitive motions and are required to stand for the entire working shift.
