  • Acts as the Integrator of the assigned portion of the Plant by ensuring the best possible interaction between the various disciplines (e.g. Equipment layout, piping, steel structures, plant foundations, air ducts etc)
  • Create layout of various systems (equipment, piping, ducts, steel structure including supporting concept)
  • Prepare, update and check planning documents (e.g layout plans, load table, EoD)
  • Ensures that scope of work complies with internal Company work instructions, Company standards, Process Engineering requirements, applicable codes (e.g. EN or ASME) contract requirements
  • Contact the project team at meetings with third parties in all planning issues

Qualifications

  • Very good user knowledge of engineering tools: Aveva E3D/PDMS, MS Office, Navisworks Simulate or Manage, AutoCad
  • 5+ years of experience in plant / layout design of plants (EfW, WtX/PtX,RG, power plants, oil & gas, industrial) or equivalent regarding structural and mechanical designs, piping routing and equipment/systems arrangement
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken) German or French are a plus
  • Bachelor Mechanical Engineering or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering (or similar)
  • Autonomous, solution-driven, and persuading personality
  • Very good communication and excellent technical coordination skills
