How will I Help?
The IBCS Legal team is a collegiate corporate legal team providing high quality advice to Westpac Institutional Bank (“WIB”), a Division of Westpac Group. Through the partnership with key internal and external stakeholders this role will support the Westpac Group’s legal and risk strategy by influencing, negotiating and consulting. Our legal advice is accurate, timely, cost effective and commercial.
You will provide legal advice and support to WIB’s Institutional Banking & Capital Solutions (“IBCS”) Line of Business. Your primary focus will be on the real estate, health and energy, infrastructure & resources sectors in IBCS, but the demands of the business (and IBCS Legal’s response to that demand) may require you to support other IBCS Legal areas. These businesses provide finance solutions for Westpac’s institutional banking clients, including Australia’s largest corporates, financial institutions and Governments.

This role will involve advising on a variety of banking transactions, lending and structured finance transactions but with a particular focus on supporting the IBCS real estate, health and energy, infrastructure & resources sectors.
