We’re looking for an enthusiastic lawyer to join the Property team in our Brisbane office. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career to move to a firm with a strong history of career progression.

You will bring a positive and proactive approach to providing quality legal advice and exceptional client service.

Your new role

You will bring a positive and proactive approach to exceptional client service and producing high quality work. Your variety of work will include:

• Take carriage of your own files
• Advise clients on legal and technical issues
• Build and promote strong client relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
• Providing legal advice to buyers and sellers on residential, commercial and rural matters
• Contract preparation and negotiation
• Transactional advice
• Preparation of leases and provision of tailored leasing advice
• General property matters
• Regularly attend seminars and events contributing to your professional development and marketing the firm
• Provide support within the team to achieve client and firm financial outcomes

You will bring to the role:

• 2-4 years’ experience and knowledge in property and/or commercial law essential
• A proactive, pragmatic and client-focused approach
• Exceptional communication and client service
• Demonstrated ability to manage competing deadlines and work effectively both independently and within a team
• Confidence in your communications and the ability to build trust with clients and colleagues
• Confidence with a range of technology and in learning new systems
• Strong time management, planning and organisational skills
• Experience using practice management systems (including Actionstep) highly regarded but not essential
