Lawyer / Migration Agent – Immigration Law

Longton Blackwell is seeking an experienced and motivated Lawyer / Registered Migration Agent to join our growing Immigration Law practice in Sydney. Founded in 2012 as a tight-knit group of solicitors, we have become one of Australia’s fastest-growing national law firms and are on a journey to be recognised among the top 30 law firms in Australia.

In this role, you will manage a diverse caseload of migration and visa matters, provide practical, client-focused advice, prepare and lodge applications, liaise with the Department of Home Affairs, and contribute to team knowledge-sharing. You may also mentor junior staff and support business development initiatives.

About You:

• MARA registration and/or admission as an Australian Solicitor
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in migration law, with AAT or tribunal experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of the Migration Act, Regulations, and Departmental Policy
• Ability to manage files autonomously while collaborating with a team
• Excellent communication, organisational, and client-service skills
• High integrity, discretion, and confidentiality
• Experience with Migration Manager (MM) highly regarded
• Multilingual skills advantageous but not essential
