The Role
This is a rare opportunity to join our band-1 ranked and highly awarded Real Estate practice in Sydney.
As a Lawyer in this team, you will work closely with Partners Andrew Steele, Nikki Robinson, Eva Oraham and Vicki Aron
As a team that prioritises professional development and mentoring, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow, working on varied and complex transactional matters. The team work as a nationally collaborative practice, giving you the opportunity to work across multiple partners with exposure to a variety of public and private sector clients. In this role, you will play a key role in an array of matters, ranging from acquisitions and disposals, property development, to large property and infrastructure project work, including in collaboration with other practice areas (e.g. Major Projects & Construction, Environment & Sustainable Development, Banking and Finance, Tax and Corporate). You will work closely with senior members of the team to manage property transactions and will be encouraged to foster engaging and lasting client relationships.
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have:
2-4 years' post-qualification legal experience in a leading Property practice (ideally within the NSW jurisdiction);
A strong academic record;
Experience across a broad range of property transactions, and the ability to demonstrate a strong understanding of key principles relevant to real estate;
The ability to communicate with impact to both internal stakeholders and clients;
Genuine passion for working collaboratively in a large team;
Proactive approach to time and matter management.
