
Law Firm Group Private Banker (Series 7 & 66)
Citi’s Law Firm Group is seeking a high-performing Private Banker to develop and deepen relationships with law firm partners, attorneys, and their families. This banker will serve as the primary advisor, delivering the full breadth of Citi’s wealth management capabilities—including banking, lending, investments, financial planning, and insurance solutions—to help clients build, preserve, and transfer wealth.
The ideal candidate combines strong business development skills with sophisticated wealth management expertise and a consultative approach to serving the unique needs of legal professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Build, manage, and grow relationships with law firm partners, attorneys, and centers of influence.
Proactively source new client relationships and drive asset, revenue, and lending growth through a disciplined business development process.
Deliver comprehensive wealth management advice across banking, credit, investments, financial planning, and insurance strategies.
Develop a deep understanding of each client’s professional, personal, and financial goals to provide tailored solutions.
Partner with investment, lending, planning, and insurance specialists to deliver integrated client strategies and a best-in-class client experience.
Identify opportunities arising from key career and life events, including partnership admissions, compensation events, retirement planning, liquidity needs, and generational wealth transfer.
Serve as a trusted advisor, providing ongoing guidance on financial markets, investment strategies, balance sheet management, and risk mitigation.
Build multi-generational relationships with clients and their families to create enduring partnerships.
Collaborate across Citi’s Wealth organization to leverage the firm’s global capabilities and deliver seamless execution.
Maintain the highest standards of risk management, regulatory compliance, and professional integrity.
Qualifications
6+ years of experience in private banking, wealth management, or financial advisory roles serving affluent or ultra-high-net-worth clients.
Demonstrated success acquiring, retaining, and expanding client relationships.
Strong knowledge of investment management, banking, lending, financial planning, and insurance solutions.
Experience serving attorneys, law firm partners, or other professional services clients is preferred.
Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team-based coverage model and deliver complex client solutions.
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and relationship management skills.
FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 licenses required.
Bachelor’s degree required.
