POSITION: Law Clerk/Senior Law Clerk for Judge Raymond F. Treadwell, for a two-year term beginning on or about August 10, 2026.

SALARY: Law clerks are paid according to the Florida State Court System Appellate Law Clerk Pay Plan, which currently provides as follows-

· Entry Level Law Clerk - $69,238.80

· Senior Law Clerk (at least 2 years of legal experience) - $78,519.84

Education and Training Guidelines

Graduation from an accredited law school. Strong academic credentials required. Law journal, moot court, or litigation experience preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. General knowledge of legal principles and court rules. Ability to comprehend and analyze complicated factual matters. Ability to perform exacting work with attention to details. Ability to communicate ideas and concepts. Ability to exercise discretion, confidentiality, impartiality, and honesty in handling matters before the Court. Ability to work effectively with judges and court staff.
