About the
Opportunity

We are seeking a committed
and career-focused Law Clerk to join our Wills & Estates team in Melbourne.

This role is ideal
for someone who is passionate about building a long-term career in legal
practice and is looking to develop deep expertise in Wills & Estates. You
will work closely with experienced lawyers across a broad range of estate
planning and administration matters, gaining meaningful hands-on experience and
exposure to client-facing work.

You’ll be an
integral part of the team, trusted to contribute to file progression and
support lawyers on complex and sensitive matters.

Key
responsibilities:

• Assist
  with legal research and drafting, including wills, powers of attorney and
  probate documents.
• Support
  the progression of estate planning and administration matters.
• Review
  file materials and identify key information and risks.
• Prepare
  correspondence and assist with client communications.
• Assist
  with inbox management, workflow coordination and end-of-month billing.
• Attend
  client meetings and support general file management.
• Contribute to team initiatives and process
  improvements.

About You:

• At
  least 2 years’ experience in a similar role within a Wills & Estates
  practice.
• A
  Diploma of Legal Services or similar qualification.
• A
  genuine interest in Wills & Estates law and a desire to build a long-term
  career as a Law Clerk in this area.
• Strong
  written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
• A
  proactive, reliable approach and willingness to take ownership of tasks.
• The
  ability to work collaboratively while also managing responsibilities
  independently.
• A
  client-focused mindset, with the ability to approach sensitive matters with
  professionalism and empathy.
