We are seeking a Law Clerk to join our Brisbane Insurance team on a casual basis for 2-3 days per week. This role offers the opportunity to gain practical experience across a range of defendant insurance matters and develop your legal skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Working closely with our solicitors, you will assist with legal research, drafting court documents, preparing materials for court attendances, undertaking discovery, and supporting the team on a range of matters.
The successful candidate will be in their final year of a Bachelor of Laws and available to work 2-3 days per week initially. We are seeking a candidate who is looking to commence their long-term career with Barry Nilsson, with the intention that this role will transition into a graduate position in January 2027, subject to performance and admission requirements.
We are looking for someone who is a team player and has a ‘can do’ attitude with strong communication and organisation skills. In return, we will provide you with the training and mentoring needed to succeed.
