Reports to: Associate Senior Corporate Counsel
As a Law Clerk at F.N.B. Corporation, you will have the opportunity to experience the support a Legal Department at a large public company provides to its financial affiliate clients on a daily basis, including general consumer law questions, human resources issues, general and complex litigation, transactional matters and regulatory matters. You will have the opportunity to be involved in and learn how the Bank’s Legal Department provides counsel and advice, or manages outside counsel, to satisfy the needs of businesses and consumers, as well as employees and executive management.
Primary Responsibilities:
Learn aggressively: Be open to new ideas and concepts, ask questions and be intellectually curious. Areas of focus vary from general legal research on uncommon issues, as well as assisting corporate counsel with legal document review and revisions (employment contracts, non-disclosure agreements, non-solicitation/non-competition agreements, vendor agreements, pleadings etc.).
Analyze: Improve the quality of decision making by performing an appropriate and thorough analysis. Potential examples include issue spotting, critical thinking, and general legal projects.
Communicate well: Deliver information in a clear, logical, and effective manner. Convey information both in writing and orally. Flex style to effectively communicate in one-on-one, small group and large-group settings. Possible examples include meetings, training sessions, email communication and conference calls.
Display Teamwork: Work well with others to achieve group goals. Willing to leverage the experiences of members to generate improved results and maximum performance. Lead and follow with effectiveness. Willing to voice dissent and ask difficult questions. Listen, to learn.

Interact With Other Business and Support Functions: Open to working with or having exposure to other FNB departments for the purpose of learning the business, culture, and mission of the company and the financial services industry.
Prepare project plans and complete project assignments under the oversight of Corporate Counsel. Learn to accomplish objectives by developing and prioritizing action steps and establishing and communicating the work plan to the appropriate participants.
Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
