Title: Laundry Attendant

Responsible for the cleaning and care of soiled and clean linens, all laundry machinery, equipment and use of supplies which may include dyes, bleach, neutralizer solution

Typical Work Conditions: Inside laundry room
Equipment Used: Commercial washer and dryer, iron, cleaning solvents
Knowledge/Training:
• Basic English necessary
• Experience preferred but not required. On-the-job training.

Essential Tasks:
• Sorting of soiled linen, loading, unloading and operation of washers and dryers
• Folding of clean linen
• Cleaning and care of all laundry room equipment, cleaning of floors, sorting tables, linen shelves, laundry trucks
• Proper use of laundry supplies and materials
• Responsible for starching and ironing all table linen
