Essential Functions:
¨ Operating dryers, washing machines, ironers & chute
¨ Sort, press, clean & store hotel linen
¨ Deliver clean linen to the proper linen closets by item and record deliveries
¨ Operating towel folder
¨ Clean all dryers at least 3 times a day
¨ Inventory and maintain par levels of all linen closets
¨ Clean area and blow down all machines
¨ Completes other duties as assigned
Hotel Specific Essential Functions:
¨ Inventory housekeeping linen closets daily
¨ Deliver Housekeeping and Banquet linen to specified closets
¨ Stock all closets according to specific par levels
¨ Pick up dirty linen from Banquet pantries
¨ Empty chute daily
¨ Empty dryers and assist in folding terry
¨ Deliver robes to linen closets and stock according to par
¨ Empty trash and keep work areas clean and free of lint
Tools and Equipment:
¨ Telephone, pen/pencil
¨ Towel Folder , dryers, washing machines, chute linen trucks
Working Environment:
¨ Interior of hotel. Exposure to extreme heat and humidity.
¨ Exposure to hazardous laundry cleaning chemicals.
