- Responsible for sorting, washing, drying, folding, stocking, and inventorying all linens and towels laundered in-house.
- Records inventory according to established guidelines. Reports results and concerns to Hotel Housekeeping leadership.
- Delivers laundry to applicable areas as needed. This includes but is not limited to hotel rooms, banquet area, pool, and Hollydeck.
- Responsible for inspecting cleanliness of all laundered items. Ensures items are neat and clean for use according to established. Reports issues to Hotel Housekeeping leadership.
- Ensures supplies are stocked according to par levels. Reports need to order supplies to Hotel Housekeeping leadership as needed.
- Assists with hotel housekeeping duties as needed. This includes but is not limited to cleaning hotel rooms, dispatch duties, and houseperson duties.
- Maintains and cleans all laundry machines after use.
- Maintains a clean and stocked workstation in accordance with established health and safety guidelines.
- Responsible for inspecting cleanliness reporting cleanliness and safety issues.
- Safely uses all soaps, chemicals, and equipment according to established guidelines. Reports any safety issues to Hotel Housekeeping leadership.
- Reports any issues or potential problems to Hotel Housekeeping leadership as they arise.
- Maintains a clean and stocked workstation in accordance with established health and safety guidelines.
- Assists Hotel Housekeeping team with housekeeping duties as needed.
- Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
- Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management.
- Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.

- General Education Degree (GED) or High School Diploma; one to six months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills.
- Must have excellent verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to operate a two-way radio.
- Must be able to operate laundry equipment that includes but is not limited to commercial washer and dryer, iron, ironing board, and steamer.
- Must be able to work high volume days, nights, holidays, and weekends, as needed.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
- Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
