As an important part of the Resort Operations Team, this role helps keep our resort running smoothly by making sure all laundry is cleaned, organized, and ready for use. The Laundry Attendant plays a big role in creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming experience for our guests by handling laundry tasks efficiently and with care. As a Laundry Attendant, you will:

  • Sort, pre-treat and separate laundry by category for assembly.
  • Separate linens into assigned bins and by linen type.
  • Fold laundry items by hand—such as sheets, pillowcases, washcloths, towels, blankets, and bedspreads. Place all folded linens on shelf in proper order and category.
  • Fold all the blankets, duvets, and mattress pads by sizes and place on shelf.
  • When processing linen, remove stained and damaged linen to the designated area.
  • Clean work area daily, including cleaning of washers and dryers.
  • Remove linen from washers and dryers daily.
  • Meet all established productivity requirements for processing linens.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

  • One year of laundry or housekeeping experience preferred.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Detail oriented with good organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to demonstrate good judgment when dealing with owners and staff members.
  • Must be able to regularly lift, pull, push, and or/move up to 50 pounds.
  • Bilingual, English/Spanish is a plus.
