As a Laundry Attendant, you will help ensure our guests receive fresh, clean linens and garments while supporting a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for both guests and colleagues.

About the Role

The Laundry Attendant is responsible for the daily operation of the laundry area, including washing, drying, pressing, folding, and distributing linens and guest laundry. This role supports housekeeping and other departments by maintaining quality standards, adhering to safety procedures, and contributing to a culture that values respect and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate washers, dryers, presses, and other laundry equipment according to manufacturer and resort procedures.

• Sort, wash, dry, press/steam, fold, and package linens, towels, uniforms, and guest laundry to established standards.

• Inspect items for stains, damage, or repair needs; report and tag damaged or lost items for follow-up.

• Maintain accurate laundry counts and assist with inventory control of linens, chemicals, and supplies.

• Deliver and pick up laundry from designated areas and coordinate with Housekeeping and F&B as required.

• Follow chemical handling, staining, and laundering procedures to preserve fabric quality and guest satisfaction.

• Keep laundry area clean, organized, and free of hazards; perform routine maintenance and notify Engineering of equipment issues.

• Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards, including proper use of PPE and safe lifting techniques.

• Support team members during peak periods and contribute positively to our We Celebrate YOU culture.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.

• Previous experience in a commercial or hotel laundry, dry cleaning, or housekeeping environment is an advantage.

• Basic knowledge of laundry chemicals and fabric care procedures preferred.

• Ability to operate laundry machinery and perform routine equipment checks.

• Good time management and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift up to company-specified weights, and perform repetitive tasks.
