Join Our Team as a Laundry Attendant:
The Prince George Hotel is currently looking for a dependable Laundry Attendant to help maintain the quality and cleanliness of all hotel linens. This role plays a key part in ensuring guestrooms and hotel operations run smoothly by keeping linens in excellent condition and ready for use.
If you are detail-oriented, comfortable with physical work, and take pride in maintaining organized systems, this could be a great fit for you.
What You'll Be Doing:
Sort, wash, dry, fold, and store hotel linens efficiently and safely
Follow proper washing instructions to maintain linen quality
Operate laundry equipment and perform routine cleaning of machines
Report any equipment concerns or mechanical issues promptly
Check and replace laundry chemicals as required, following proper safety procedures
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Provide laundering services for other departments (e.g., drop cloths, rags, mop heads)
Follow all health and safety standards and emergency procedures
Complete daily wellness checks and follow enhanced cleaning protocols
What We're Looking For:
Ability to lift, pull, and push heavy loads throughout the shift
Strong attention to detail
Comfort working in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently and stay organized
Commitment to health and safety standards
Availability for shift work, including weekends and holidays
Previous laundry or housekeeping experience is an asset but not required
