Join Our Team as a Laundry Attendant:

At Cambridge Suites Hotel, pristine linens are essential to delivering an exceptional guest experience. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to support our Housekeeping team by ensuring all hotel linens and in-house items are processed efficiently, safely, and to the highest cleanliness standards.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and store guest room and Food & Beverage linens

• Prepare and organize linens for daily hotel operations

• Process stained linens and specialty items according to procedures

• Maintain washers, dryers, irons, and related equipment; report mechanical concerns promptly

• Clean lint screens and monitor equipment for safe and efficient operation

• Follow all WHMIS guidelines and proper chemical handling procedures

• Check and replace laundry chemicals as required and assist with monthly ordering

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laundry workspace

• Complete monthly towel and linen inventory

• Deliver linen carts to guest floors and maintain proper rotation

• Support laundering of in-house items such as rags, mop heads, and meeting linens

• Follow all emergency response and fire safety procedures

• Report maintenance concerns or safety hazards observed during shift

Safety and Compliance Commitment:

• Follow enhanced cleaning and sanitizing procedures

• Wear appropriate PPE as required

• Practice proper handwashing standards

• Complete wellness checks as required

• Maintain awareness of emergency response procedures

What We're Looking For:

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and efficiently

• Comfort working with industrial laundry equipment and chemicals

• Knowledge of WHMIS standards is an asset

• Ability to perform physical duties including prolonged standing, lifting, pushing, and pulling

• Ability to work in a warm environment

• Availability for shift work, including weekends and holidays

• Previous laundry or housekeeping experience is an asset but not required
