Job Description

The Position:

As a Laundry Attendant, at Fireside Catering, you will be responsible for ensuring that all laundry items are cleaned, ironed, and folded according to the highest standards, while also maintaining a clean and organized laundry area.

Responsibilities:

• Collecting, sorting, and washing laundry items according to established procedures
• Operating laundry machines and dryers to clean and dry laundry items
• Folding and ironing laundry items as needed
• Checking laundry for stains, damage, and quality issues
• Maintaining an organized and clean laundry area
• Handling laundry chemicals and ensuring they are stored safely and used properly
• Keeping an inventory of laundry supplies and notifying management when supplies are running low
• Reporting any issues with laundry equipment to management
• Assisting with other tasks as needed

Requirements:

• Prior experience in laundry services preferred but not required
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs
• Attention to detail and ability to identify stains and quality issues
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills
