Laundry Administrator

Responsible for providing administrative and coordination support to the Laundry Department, including daily record keeping, scheduling, purchasing, maintenance coordination, and general departmental administration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record and monitor daily laundry volume and linen, guest laundry, uniform, and shop laundry weights.
• Prepare daily and monthly laundry volume reports and submit reports to relevant departments.
• Coordinate maintenance work orders and follow up with the Engineering team when required.
• Prepare purchase requests (PR) for departmental supplies, equipment, and maintenance requirements.
• Prepare and maintain staff work schedules, including working hours, shifts, and days off.
• Prepare monthly meal rosters and meal requests based on staff schedules.
• Coordinate the requisition and distribution of departmental supplies from the Store.
• Maintain leave records and assist supervisors with leave requests in the BGX system.
• Record and maintain departmental fuel expenses and related documentation.
• Maintain accurate departmental records, files, and reports.
• Provide general administrative support to the Laundry team and assist with other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• Previous experience in an administrative or coordinator role is preferred.
• Good command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Detail-oriented with good follow-up skills.
• Able to coordinate with different departments and work as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Experience in hotel or laundry operations will be an advantage.
