About The Role

As a Product Manager - Precision Technology in John Deere Research & Development Center in Indaiatuba/SP, you will play a key role in defining and enabling Precision Agriculture solutions for Latin America, with a primary focus on Brazil. Working within the Intelligent Solutions Group (ISG), you will help bring innovative technology solutions to farmers by translating customer needs into impactful digital and connected product experiences.
In this role, you will collaborate with global Product Managers, engineering, UX, customer support, sales, and marketing teams to ensure solutions meet the needs of Brazilian farmers while contributing to John Deere’s global Precision Agriculture strategy. You will serve as a strong advocate for regional customer needs and help drive awareness, adoption, and utilization of Precision Agriculture technologies.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of the needs of Brazilian farmers and identify opportunities for technology solutions that improve productivity, profitability, and sustainability.
  • Build expertise in John Deere’s Precision Agriculture portfolio, including embedded and digital solutions, and understand the broader John Deere technology ecosystem.
  • Analyze customer feedback, product utilization data, dealer insights, and market trends to understand customer needs and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Define, prioritize, and communicate product enhancements, features, and new solutions that address local market requirements.
  • Collaborate with global Product Managers to advocate for regional needs and influence future product roadmaps.
  • Lead customer discovery and validation activities for solutions where Brazil serves as a lead market.
  • Support the localization and validation of global solutions to ensure successful adoption in Brazil.
  • Partner with Product Marketing and Customer Success teams to drive awareness, adoption, and utilization of Precision Agriculture solutions.
  • Work closely with engineering, UX, and cross-functional teams to translate customer needs into product requirements and deliver exceptional user experiences.

What Skills You Need

  • Advanced English proficiency, including the ability to participate in meetings, trainings, presentations, and business discussions.
  • Solid experience in technology product development, software, hardware, digital products, or related areas.
  • Knowledge of technology platforms, digital solutions, and product development methodologies.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strategic mindset combined with strong attention to detail and execution.
  • Ability to gather customer insights and translate them into product requirements and business value.
  • Availability to travel up to 40%, including international travel.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Engineering, Computer Science, Technology, or a related field.

  • Knowledge of tropical agriculture and Brazilian farming systems.
  • Experience with Precision Agriculture technologies and digital farming solutions.
  • Experience working directly with agricultural customers and technology adoption initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of customer-centered product development and user experience principles.
  • Ability to effectively engage with technical teams and contribute to product discussions with engineering partners.
