Job Description

The NPD Registrations Operations Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accurate, timely, and compliant registration of new product developments (NPDs) across markets. This role supports end-to-end execution of SKU creation and product setup processes, enabling successful product launches aligned with business timelines and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. NPD Registration Execution
Manage end-to-end SKU registration process across systems (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, local tools).
Ensure on-time and in-full (OTIF) setup of new products to support market launches.
Coordinate product data creation including:
Material codes
Customer master extensions (if required)
Pricing and classification data
Track and validate completeness and accuracy of registration inputs.
2. Cross-Functional Coordination
Act as the central point of contact for NPD registration activities between:
Customer Development (CD)
Supply Chain
Marketing / Brand Teams
Finance and Pricing teams
Align on timelines, dependencies, and readiness for product launches.
Support communication between global, regional, and local stakeholders (especially LATAM markets).
3. Process Governance & Compliance
Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and governance frameworks.
Validate compliance with:
Pricing guidelines
Contractual requirements
Regulatory and market-specific documentation
Maintain audit-ready documentation for all registrations.
4. Tracking & Reporting
Maintain and continuously improve NPD trackers and dashboards.
Monitor key KPIs such as:
OTIF launches
Registration cycle time
Error rates / rework
Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and leadership.
Highlight risks, delays, and mitigation plans proactively.
5. Continuous Improvement
Identify process gaps and implement efficiency improvements.
Standardize templates, checklists, and workflows for faster execution.
Drive automation opportunities and digital tool adoption.
Support documentation of best practices and knowledge sharing.
6. Issue Resolution & Escalation
Troubleshoot system or data issues related to product registrations.
Work with IT or master data teams to resolve errors quickly.
Escalate critical risks impacting launch timelines.
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong process management and attention to detail
Experience with SAP (material master / customer master / pricing) and/or Salesforce
Ability to manage multiple NPD projects simultaneously
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Analytical mindset with focus on KPIs and data accuracy
Problem-solving and continuous improvement orientation
Ability to work across multi-country / LATAM environments
