The Benefits Analyst provides day-to-day operational support to the Benefits Leads across designated countries in Latin America. The role emphasizes close collaboration with the Global Business Services (GBS) team on daily activities and process execution, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of health, wellness, and retirement programs. The position supports management, assessment, and communication activities, requiring a foundational understanding of benefit design and compliance.
Key responsibilities include:
Support the LATAM Benefits Team in the day-to-day delivery and execution of all health, wellness, and retirement programs.
Assist the team in managing local vendor relations and monitoring service delivery standards.
Support program benchmarking, data analysis, and assessment of program effectiveness.
Assist with the assessment of program changes, enhancements, and standardization recommendations.
Support the LATAM Benefits Team in resolving escalated employee inquiries and maintaining strong relationships with HR stakeholders.
Work in close partnership with the GBS team on process execution, data integrity, and leveraging their services to drive greater delivery efficiency.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and harmonize benefits practices across the region.
Support LATAM Benefits Team during annual benefit renewals, including data collection and communication preparation.
Assist in ensuring plan reporting and compliance documentation is managed effectively.
Support the creation of program communications to highlight changes, updates or to enhance employee engagement
Qualifications include:
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
Fluent in Portuguese, Spanish and English
1-3 years of experience supporting benefits (health, wellness, retirement) programs.
Basic knowledge or familiarity with benefit program design and structure in Latin American countries.
Strong knowledge of HR system (Workday), data interfaces
Excellent analytical skills; proven ability to conduct analysis / assessment of benefit designs, pricing updates and related evaluations
Proficiency in reporting and troubleshooting data issues related to benefit data management in HRIS / payroll systems.
