We are a global leader specializing in the design, manufacture and distribution of functional hardware, office and healthcare ergonomics and storage-related components for original equipment manufacturers, specialty distributors, hardware chains and major home centers.

Open Position:

  • Shift Assignment 1st shift (7:00AM-3PM, Monday-Friday)

What You Will be Doing:

  • Responsible for achieving rate and meeting targets
  • Conduct changeovers and setups
  • Inspect parts and machinery for errors
  • Perform all shop functions, packing instructions and labeling requirements
  • Respond to machine faults and downtime, and accurately track
  • Responsible for training
  • Participate in Kaizen events, problem solving teams, and improvement projects
  • Operate a forklift

What You Will Bring:

  • 1 year of manufacturing or Laser Operator experience
  • Understanding of mechanical systems, working knowledge of tools, die changeovers and ability to read blueprints
  • Basic reading, writing and math skills
  • Ability to learn and make transactions in an ERP system like Oracle
  • Ability to efficiently work in a high paced environment
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand basic English
  • Manufacturing environment; while performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts; the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
