Laser Operator (Amada Laser – 4i Control) | CNC Laser Machine Operator
Watson Custom Tanks
Day Shift 4x10 or 5x8 Availability
Pay: $20-$24/hr
Job Purpose
We are currently seeking a Laser Operator (Amada Laser – 4i Control) to join our team. Laser Operators are a vital part of production, helping form and cut parts by operating machinery safely and accurately. Team members are assigned to a primary area, but are empowered to cross-train to learn additional machines and grow their skills.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Understand and follow all company procedures for safety.
• Inspect work pieces to confirm they conform to specifications; adjust machine settings to correct errors.
• Follow technical instructions and interpret engineering blueprints and technical terms.
• Discern quality of parts and materials used in production.
• Test finished products for defects.
• Maintain the tools used to create products.
• Keep a clean and well-maintained workspace.

Qualifications
Education
• High school diploma or GED strongly preferred
Specialized Knowledge & Experience
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, shop floor documentation, customer specifications/diagrams, and instructions from supervisors/managers.
• No experience required, but successful candidates must have the mechanical aptitude to manufacture high-quality parts.

Physical Requirements & Safety

• Safety is of utmost importance. Team members must follow safety procedures and use equipment/materials properly; must wear safety glasses and steel toe boots.
