About Global Payment
The International Payment Team (PIPO) is responsible for providing professional overseas payment and financial services for all of ByteDance's international businesses, and is committed to building a world-leading payment and financial technology platform. The LLM Algorithms Team is responsible for utilizing cutting-edge language and multimodal large model technologies to solve core issues such as user experience and operational efficiency, supporting the implementation of global international payment businesses including risk control, compliance, and credit.

We support credit-bearing internship registration, subject to the intern's school requirements and company approval.

Successful candidates must be able to commit to either of the following Internships
- From January to June (onboard by 12 Jan 2026)
- From May to August (onboard by 11 May 2026)

Responsibilities
- Gain a deep understanding of business requirements, utilize various post-training technologies such as SFT, RLVR, and Agent RL to optimize the performance of models for information extraction, intent classification, tool calling, etc., in scenarios such as intelligent debt collection, intelligent customer service, AIOps, thereby raising the ceiling of business results.
- Closely follow the latest research results in the LLM field, actively participate in the exploration and research of new businesses, and find the best solutions based on a full understanding of business scenarios.
