At Barclays, you will spearhead the evolution of our digital landscape, driving innovation and operational excellence across our technology platforms. As a QA Lead you will be accountable for the verification and validation of the Large Holdings application supporting the Compliance business. This role is responsible for end‑to‑end testing delivery through Agile teams, ensuring quality is embedded across the delivery lifecycle. You will own and manage the QA process, test schedules, and delivery commitments, ensuring strong adoption of Agile and DevOps methodologies. Working closely with the Development Manager, you will align release plans, dependencies, and timelines, enabling predictable and high‑quality releases.
To be successful in this role you should possess:
Should have knowledge of QA Automation framework and any scripting language and strong understanding of test governance, entry/exit criteria, defect triaging, and sign‑off processes.
Ability to define overall QA strategy across SIT, UAT, Regression, and Production‑readiness and experience owning quality outcomes across large programmes, not just test execution.
Deep hands-on knowledge of source to target validation, data reconciliation, completeness & accuracy checks, large-volume data testing.
Experience planning, running, and closing UAT end‑to‑end and single QA point of accountability for business sign‑off.
Experience in modernizing QA practices like Shift Left and Able to understand and derive the Functional and Non-functional testing requirement.
Strong SQL skills (complex joins, aggregations, validations).

Strong understanding of CI/CD integration.
Strong understanding of Automation coverage metrics, stability, maintainability, and ROI of automation.
Proven experience working with Global Stakeholder & Business Engagement and communicate clearly at senior‑leadership level.
Comfortable operating in regulated environments with audit expectations and experience in Capital Markets / Risk / Compliance / Regulatory platforms.
