Monitors the entire landscape or designated area of the university.
Plants, waters, sprinkle installation, and all-around tending to any plants, shrubs, or trees.
Performs groundskeeping tasks like sod laying, mowing, mulching, edging, pruning, fertilizing, digging, raking, and other lawn/plants or tree care maintenance duties.
Monitors and maintains plant' health.
Removing unwanted or damaged plants/ trees.
Installs of mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
A high school certificate, with a minimum of 2 years of experience related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Demonstrates good hand skills, landscaping tools or equipment familiarity, and teamwork.
Demonstrate competency in specific materials, methods, tools, equipment, and techniques required to complete required tasks safely and responsibly.
Ability to work with landscaping hand tools, power tools, small engine equipment, heavy equipment, and materials.
Excellent stamina is required.
Capable of operating landscaping tools or equipment.
General knowledge about the landscape.
