The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Landscaper to join our team based in Port Hedland, delivering high-quality landscaping works across the Pilbara.
This is a permanent, full-time role offering 10-hour shifts from Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday work, totalling a minimum of 50 hours per week.
Local Port Hedland-based candidates are strongly preferred, but applicants who are willing to relocate to Port Hedland will also be considered. Please note: FIFO will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
• Interpret and follow landscape plans and specifications
• Install both soft and hard landscaping features including turf, mulch, paving, retaining walls, and planting
• Operate landscaping tools and machinery safely and effectively
• Perform ground preparation, soil improvement, and irrigation system installations
• Maintain a high standard of work quality, site cleanliness, and safety
• Support and guide landscape labourers as required
What We’re Looking For
• Minimum 5 years of experience in landscaping or horticulture (construction or maintenance)
• White Card and valid WA Driver’s License
• Certificate III in Landscape Construction (highly regarded)
• Local candidates preferred, though relocation to Port Hedland will be considered for the right candidate
• Ability to read and interpret landscape plans and designs
• Solid knowledge of plants, soils, irrigation, and outdoor construction materials
• Good communication, teamwork, and time management skills
• Cultural awareness and willingness to work respectfully in Aboriginal communities

Yurra is majority owned by all Yindjibarndi people via Yindjibarndi Wealth Pty Ltd a wholly owned investment entity established for the Yindjibarndi people post the signing of the Land Use Agreement with Rio Tinto Iron Ore (RTIO) in July 2013. Yurra’s balance ownership is by Right Foot Forward Pty Ltd (Liam Wilson), one of the founding Directors and current CEO.
