DEPARTMENT: Property

POSITION TITLE: Landscaper

STATUS: Full-Time, Non-Exempt

PAY RATE: $21.00/hour

Landscapers are responsible for maintaining the landscape areas of the Crestmont Campus and the Officers’ quarters. This position performs routine grounds maintenance, including mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, and irrigation support to ensure all outdoor areas are safe, clean, and well-maintained.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

Three years of experience in the landscaping field.
Knowledge of the maintenance and repairs of irrigation systems.
Experience in tree trimming.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Strong attention to details.
Self-starter with a customer service mindset.
You must possess a valid driver’s license.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Maintain landscaped areas including lawns, trees, shrubs, flower beds, and ground cover on a
regular schedule.
2. Remove debris, leaves, and litter to keep grounds clean and presentable.
3. Perform basic irrigation system checks, adjustments, and minor repairs.
4. Operate and maintain landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.)
5. Perform other duties as assigned.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Qualified individuals must be able to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation. • Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.
• Ability to grasp, push, pull objects and reach overhead.
• Ability to operate telephone.
• Ability to operate a desktop or laptop computer.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to access and produce information from a computer.
• Ability to understand written information.
