Job Description

Do you love working outside?Sun Peaks Resort seeks a seasonal Landscape Labourer to join our dynamic team. The Landscape Labourer will work with the team to enhance the resort's golf course and outdoor spaces, ensuring they remain pristine and visually appealing. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating exceptional guest experiences through beautiful landscapes. Compensation Information: $21.45 per hour (this updated wage is effective May 01, 2026)

Physical Requirement: Heavy; work activities involve handling loads up to 35kg; predominantly in an outdoor setting.

This job position requires physical presence at the designated location.

Skills you bring with you:

  • 2 yearsĺ previous experience working in landscaping.
  • Must possess and submit a valid Driverĺs License.
  • Must be in good physical condition, able to lift heavy objects, do manual and all types of labor and willing and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Must be familiar with WorkSafeBC and WHMIS regulations.
  • Willing and able to work very early shifts.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Recognize that your safety, the safety of your fellow workers and the safety of the general public is your number one job responsibility.
  • Learn to work through the golfing public safely and with minimal disruption in play.
  • Always watch for potential hazards to yourself, your co-workers and the general public and report them to your supervisor.
  • Operation of light duty golf course maintenance equipment.
  • Mowing turf, watering, weed pulling and pruning.
  • Landscape irrigation.
  • Treat the public with courtesy and respect.
  • Always wear PPE that is required for different job circumstances.
