About the role

The landscape Labourer’s main responsibilities will be general landscaping tasks including: planting, placing sod, operating equipment, and mowing. You will be working closely with the landscape team to assist in landscaping projects and maintain a high-quality standards.

Hourly Pay Range: $22.00-25.00/hr.

What you’ll be doing

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, weeding, placing sod, grading yards, and pruning to maintain a well-manicured landscape
• Operate and maintain equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other hand tools
• Plant and maintain flowers, shrubs, and trees, ensuring proper watering and fertilization
• Monitor and control pests and diseases that may affect the health of the landscape
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
• Maintain accurate records of work and reporting of issues

What we’re looking for

• 1-3 years of landscaping or relevant experience
• Ability to lift 50lbs and perform manual labor in various weather conditions
• Valid driver’s license
• Experience and knowledge of plants is an asset
• Machine experience using skid steer and/or mini excavator an asset
