Job Description

SNIPEBRIDGE is a strategic talent solutions company specializing in connecting exceptional talent to great career opportunities. We work as an exclusive partner to leading AEC and technology organizations that are advancing the built environment through innovation, technical rigor, and transformative work.

COMPANY

Our client is an award-winning landscape architecture, planning, and urban design practice in Dallas with more than 30 years of experience. The studio is built around creativity, design excellence, interdisciplinary collaboration, and a thorough, process-oriented approach.

The firm’s work considers place, context, history, environmental responsibility, and the way people interact with the landscape. Its diverse portfolio includes hospitality, residential, civic and cultural, education, healthcare, corporate, parks and gardens, senior living, and planning and urban design projects throughout the United States and abroad.

Principals remain closely involved in each project, working directly with clients, consultants, and project teams. This creates a collaborative environment where ideas can be explored thoughtfully and design intent is carried carefully from early concept through construction.

POSITION SUMMARY

With a growing project workload and an expanding team, our client is seeking a Landscape Architect who can balance strong design thinking with disciplined project delivery.

This person will lead projects through site planning, conceptual design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration. The role also includes guiding junior designers, coordinating clients and consultants, and managing project schedules and budgets.

The firm is considering candidates with 4–12 years of professional experience. Someone with approximately eight years of experience will likely align most closely with the anticipated scope, bringing the judgment to lead significant portions of projects while remaining actively involved in design development and technical execution.

This is an opportunity for a well-rounded landscape architect who wants to work across a diverse portfolio, collaborate closely with experienced principals, and help carry thoughtful design ideas through to their built result.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead landscape architecture projects through site planning, conceptual design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration
  • Develop thoughtful, site-responsive design concepts that integrate creative, technical, and environmental considerations
  • Translate design ideas into clear drawings, presentations, models, details, and construction documents
  • Coordinate project work with firm principals, internal team members, clients, architects, engineers, and other consultants
  • Serve as a consistent point of contact for clients and consultant teams throughout the project
  • Organize project workflows, establish priorities, and maintain progress across multiple phases
  • Manage project schedules, work plans, deliverables, and budgets
  • Review drawings and documentation for accuracy, coordination, constructability, design continuity, and overall quality
  • Guide junior designers through clear direction, design critique, technical review, and day-to-day mentorship
  • Support construction administration through submittal review, responses to field questions, site observation, and contractor coordination
  • Contribute to a collaborative studio environment where ideas are tested, refined, and strengthened across disciplines
  • Help maintain and improve the firm’s design, documentation, and project-delivery standards

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Landscape Architecture
  • 4–12 years of professional landscape architecture experience
  • Professional landscape architecture licensure preferred but not required
  • Portfolio demonstrating strong design judgment, visual communication, technical ability, and experience carrying projects through multiple phases
  • Experience managing project scope, schedules, budgets, documentation, and consultant coordination
  • Ability to move comfortably between conceptual design and the technical decisions required to deliver built work
  • Experience communicating directly with clients, architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors
  • Working knowledge of grading, drainage, planting, materials, detailing, constructability, and construction administration
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities without losing sight of design intent or project commitments
  • Clear written, verbal, and visual communication skills
  • Collaborative leadership style and an interest in supporting the growth of junior designers
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Rhino, Civil 3D, SketchUp, and Lumion
  • Revit experience preferred but not required

All applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship and must already possess long-term work authorization.
