GFL Environmental is looking for a Landfill Supervisor to join our team in Swift Current, SK!
The Landfill Supervisor will assist and coordinate the day-to-day field operations to ensure quality service and product line efficiency. Provide leadership to site staff and promote a positive employee/employer relationship.
They will review and process day to day operations, provide guidance, and plan and delegate job duties as required.

Requirements
Experience operating heavy equipment.
Willing to work flexible hours.
2-3 years supervisory experience along with experience working with Front End Loaders and Dozers.
Ability to obtain Transfer Station/Landfill Operations Certification if needed.
Previous operations, transportation, waste management experience preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Direct supervision of all site staff, ensuring ongoing training Requirements:, discipline and procedural implementation.
Assist with sustaining a productive and motivated workforce by screening, selecting, training, developing and evaluating personnel required to meet service commitments.
Ensure operators are performing task knowledgeably, productively and safely.
Ensure that all operators complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and reports, daily equipment report, operational forms and other documentation daily
Ensure a healthy and safe working environment for all.
Ensure company policy, systems, and industry related training is delivered to all staff.
Working knowledge of equipment to manage solid waste and/or cover materials.
Operate equipment as necessary.
Other duties as assigned.
