Job Description

The Opportunity

Veolia is currently seeking enthusiastic Operators to join our North Bannister Resource Recovery Park within its Resource Recovery Division in WA. These roles will ensure safe and efficient operations within our Organics and Landfill processing facilities.

The role is a day shift, with a rostered rotation of weekend shifts so this can offer local flexibility to be home each night.

What you'll be responsible for

  • Assist in the operational management of the work areas.

  • Communicating with the Operations Supervisor prior to commencement of work to ensure work instructions are clear and work location is confirmed.

  • Work with drivers to assist in the correct unloading of waste at the site.

  • Managing various waste streams

  • Operating various machinery such as Dozers, Compactors, Excavators, Articulated Dump Trucks, Graders, Rollers, Loaders, Water carts

What you'll need to be successful

  • Safety First attitude

  • Heavy Machinery Experience - Excavator or Dozer experience (highly regarded)

  • Experience on Articulated Dump Trucks, Rollers, Water carts

  • Good work ethic and willingness to learn.

  • Be able to work well within a team environment
