Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, has an exciting full-time employment opportunity for an Associate in the Land Use Practice of our Denver office. Job Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in land use, zoning, real estate development, or related regulatory matters
  • Experience with entitlement and permitting processes, including interaction with municipal and governmental authorities
  • Experience drafting land use applications, development agreements, zoning analyses, and related materials is preferred
  • Familiarity with Colorado land use laws and local regulatory frameworks is a plus

Candidates should demonstrate strong interpersonal, organizational, and administrative skills as well as exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage and prioritize a diverse workload. Candidates must be admitted to the Colorado Bar or eligible for prompt admission.

Greenberg Traurig’s Land Use attorneys collectively have decades of experience in real estate development and land use law. With a presence in some of the most active real estate markets in the United States, we advise landowners, developers, joint venture partners, and entrepreneurs at virtually all stages in the land development process, from due diligence for acquisitions and finance matters, to acquiring development rights in site assemblages, to completing subdivisions, and obtaining zoning and other land use entitlements, building permits, and certificates of occupancy. Where required, we assist the client in meeting federal, state and local environmental mandates for assessment and in obtaining environmental permits that support land use approvals.

The expected pay range for this position is:

$210,000 to $250,000 per year

Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
