Job Title – Land Surveyor

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Land Surveyor to support construction and development projects by performing accurate site measurements, land assessments, and surveying activities. The role is responsible for ensuring precise data collection, setting out works, and supporting engineering and construction teams with reliable survey information throughout project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Site Surveying & Measurements

• 
  Conduct topographic, boundary, and construction surveys for project sites.
• 
  Carry out accurate measurements for land levels, boundaries, and site layouts.
• 
  Establish and verify control points, benchmarks, and site coordinates.
• 
  Perform setting-out activities for construction works as per approved drawings.

Data Collection & Analysis

• 
  Collect, record, and analyze survey data using modern surveying instruments.
• 
  Process field data and prepare detailed survey reports and maps.
• 
  Ensure accuracy of measurements and consistency with project requirements.
• 
  Maintain updated survey records for all project activities.

Construction Support & Layout

• 
  Assist construction teams with alignment, levels, and layout marking.
• 
  Verify dimensions, elevations, and positioning of structural elements.
• 
  Support excavation, foundation, and structural works with precise survey data.
• 
  Ensure adherence to design specifications and approved plans.

Equipment Handling & Calibration

• 
  Operate and maintain surveying instruments such as total stations, GPS systems, and levels.
• 
  Ensure proper calibration and accuracy of surveying equipment.
• 
  Report and resolve equipment issues or inaccuracies promptly.
• 
  Maintain survey tools and ensure safe handling practices.

Coordination & Reporting

• 
  Coordinate with civil engineers, site supervisors, and project managers.
• 
  Attend site meetings and provide updates on survey progress.
• 
  Prepare and submit survey reports, drawings, and documentation.
• 
  Communicate findings and discrepancies to project teams for resolution.

Compliance & Quality Assurance

• 
  Ensure all surveying activities comply with project specifications and standards.
• 
  Verify accuracy of site layouts before execution of construction activities.
• 
  Support quality assurance processes through precise measurement validation.
• 
  Maintain adherence to safety and regulatory requirements on-site.

Qualifications & Experience

• 
  Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 
  3–8 years of experience in land surveying within construction, infrastructure, or real estate development projects.
• 
  Proficiency in modern surveying instruments (Total Station, GPS, Auto Level, etc.).
• 
  Experience in UAE construction projects is an advantage.
