Land Officer

Location: Bentley WA

Work Type: Full Time | Permanent Opportunity

Help Enable WA's Energy Future

Join Horizon Power as a Land Officer and support the land access and land tenure activities that help deliver critical energy infrastructure across regional and remote Western Australia. Working within our Sustainability team, you'll play an important role in helping projects and operational teams navigate land related requirements, approvals and acquisition pathways.

This is a unique opportunity for someone with experience in land access, land tenure and GIS. Acting as a technical service provider to the business, you'll partner closely with internal stakeholders across project development, project delivery, operations and other business units to help progress land related outcomes. While you'll engage with external stakeholders when required, much of your work will be focused on supporting teams across Horizon Power.

At Horizon Power, we're more than an energy provider. We're helping create a more sustainable energy future for regional WA while supporting vibrant communities across the state. You'll join a collaborative team that values initiative, learning, knowledge sharing and practical problem solving.

Your role in action:

  • Support land access, tenure management and acquisition activities and compliance across Horizon Power projects and operations.
  • Research and assess land tenure matters, including Crown land, leases and licences.
  • Use GIS systems to interpret land, tenure, native title and heritage information.
  • Coordinate land related approvals, actions and deliverables across multiple workstreams.
  • Build trusted relationships and provide support to internal stakeholders on land related matters. Clarifying requirements and helping identify practical solutions where required.

What you’ll bring:

You bring initiative, curiosity and a practical approach to problem solving, with the ability to turn unclear requests into clear, actionable solutions.

  • Experience in land access, land tenure and Crown land processes.
  • GIS experience and the ability to interpret spatial and land related information.
  • Experience supporting multiple projects or workstreams in a project environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • A proactive, solutions focused approach and the ability to build positive stakeholder relationships.

Ready to make an impact?

Apply now and join a team that helps unlock the land access and tenure solutions needed to support Horizon Power's projects, operations and future growth across Western Australia.
