It completes landowner notification for access to an established easement in compliance with PREPA’s Easement Regulation and other applicable laws and regulations.
Monitors property rights acquisition by overseeing negotiations, validating land requirements, coordinating purchase and sale agreements, managing damage claims, and corroborating non-concern acknowledgments o secure right‑of‑way access, ensure compliance, and support on‑time project execution.
Coordinates negotiations and stakeholder engagement with landowners, occupants, and regulatory bodies to secure land rights, ensure awareness of proposed activities, and resolve property discrepancies for project compliance and timely execution.
Provides expertise in land acquisition and stakeholder negotiation to support the development and implementation of effective solutions.
Monitors compliance and process effectiveness to ensure alignment with policies and continuous improvement.
Delivers training and guidance to stakeholders to enhance understanding and adoption of best practices.
Follows established company policies, procedures, and standards to ensure full compliance with applicable laws and industry regulations.
Participates in storm restoration tasks and assigned drills to contribute to the safe and reliable recovery of services.

Additional Job Description:
Education
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Project Management, Surveying, Real Estate, Paralegal or related field. Bachelor's degree in Surveying or Cartography is preferred.
Experience
3 years' experience with right‑of‑way acquisition processes and working with landowners, survey teams, and regulatory agencies.
Experience working with documents, policies, SOP creation and implementation.
Experience leading or collaborating with small projects.
Experience as matter-expert and asset resource to provide support to internal/external clients.
Additional experience may substitute for required education when it aligns with the competencies and knowledge necessary for the role:
Associate’s degree in a relevant field may substitute when accompanied by a minimum of 8 years of experience performing similar functions and at least 5 years of experience performing a previous position as Specialist role.
High School or equivalent (GED) when accompanied by a minimum of 10 years of experience performing similar functions described and at least 8 years of experience performing a previous Land Agent role.
