Land Access and Agreements Advisor

Help power regional WA from the ground up

Join Horizon Power as a Land Access & Agreements Advisor within our Commercial division and support the delivery of renewable energy and decarbonisation projects across regional Western Australia.

This role plays an important part in helping secure the land, approvals and agreements required for new renewable energy infrastructure, decarbonisation initiatives and other critical energy projects across regional WA. Working alongside project teams, government agencies, Aboriginal organisations, local governments and landholders, you'll support land access activities, due diligence, stakeholder engagement and agreement negotiations that enable critical infrastructure projects.

You'll be part of a small, practical team that values communication and collaboration. The role offers plenty of variety, exposure to major energy projects and opportunities to travel throughout regional and remote WA. It's also a great opportunity for someone looking to further develop their experience in land access, planning, land administration, community engagement or related fields.

Your role in action:

• Support land access, acquisition and due diligence activities for energy projects.
• Assist with agreements including leases, licences and land access arrangements.
• Work with landholders, government agencies and Aboriginal organisations.
• Coordinate stakeholder engagement, approvals and project activities.
• Travel to regional and remote communities to support project delivery.

What you’ll bring:

• Experience supporting land access, tenure or acquisition matters.
• Knowledge of Crown land, leases, licences or government land processes.
• Strong stakeholder, communication and organisational skills.
• A relevant tertiary qualification, ideally in law or town planning.
• GIS or mapping experience is highly desirable.
